The new noVNC console will be available for all Apache CloudStack Private Cloud customers beginning next week. Key features include better browser compatibility including mobile browsers (iOS and Android), websockets for persistent connections, and overall more responsive performance.

As an Apache CloudStack customer, we have some important news for you:

noVNC console for CloudStack goes live!

The new noVNC console will be available for all Apache CloudStack Private Cloud customers beginning next week. Key features include better browser compatibility including mobile browsers (iOS and Android), websockets for persistent connections, and overall more responsive performance.

Together with the release of the new console we are also adding important fixes and additions for the CloudStack Platform. The overview is available here.

More information including a how-to guide could be found in the KB/release notes, a new section in our Knowledge Base, which will contain product updates, feature release updates, customer portal updates, critical fixes and maintenance updates, how-to guides, links to helpful documentation, as well as newly released documentation.

Customer Portal downtime expected due to release:
Due to maintenance on the CloudStack Private platform connected to the release of new noVNC remote access console a short downtime is expected within the time frames listed below.

Your service will remain online but some actions in the Customer Portal might not respond for a few minutes.

We expect the changes to go live during the following times:
  • ✔ on July 19th, 2017, between 07:00 and 14:00 CEST, for Germany;
  • ✔ on July 19th, 2017, between 15:00 and 22:00 SST, for Singapore;
  • ✔ on July 23th, 2017, between 22:00 and 05:00 UTC, for San Francisco, USA;
  • ✔ on July 24th, 2017, between 01:00 and 08:00 EST, for Manassas, USA;
  • ✔ on July 24th, 2017, between 07:00 and 14:00 CEST, for Netherlands.

Leaseweb will increase %3 for all services starting from 2017

At LeaseWeb, we are continuously striving to provide you with a better customer experience. This year was no exception, and we boosted our Customer Care team so that we are continuously available for you – anytime, anywhere, introduced multi user access to the Customer Portal, automated server installation with RAID, and added an additional security layer to access the LeaseWeb Customer Portal. With external factors increasing our cost base, we are writing to inform you of our annual 3% increase of our Service Charges based on our General Conditions. You can find them here.

The revised rates will apply only from 1 January 2017 onwards and applies only to agreements entered into before 1 January 2016. The revised price will be included in your first 2017 invoice and you can preview it on our Customer Portal from mid-December.

This year, we also expanded our product portfolio with additional Cybersecurity services, Private Networking, Remote Management, and launched vCloud in The Netherlands and Singapore. We extended our global footprint with eight additional data centers in the U.S. And to accelerate our Web Hosting related services, we also opened new PoPs in the U.S. and Switzerland. This price increase will allow us to continue investing in the development of features and services for you.
